The Release Project

Supported Volunteering / What We Do / What's on

Through supported volunteering, The Release Project is helping ex-offenders and their families grow in confidence, develop new skills and support their local communities.

Funded by the Lloyds Bank Foundation (England & Wales) we’re developing the skills and confidence of those who have been – or are – involved in the criminal justice system, through supported volunteering and other opportunities.

#VCSVolunteering

With mentor support, we help prepare participants for volunteering roles, supporting them with applications, interview technique, and everything it takes to get back on track.

The project is developing community-based volunteering opportunities with other Third Sector organisations and partnerships to offer participants practical skills and to enhance employment prospects.
