Pave the Way

Supported Volunteering / What We Do / What's on

Achieving wellbeing through volunteering.

Pave the Way is a two-year programme supporting people with lived experience of mental ill health.

Working in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, Pave the Way is a partnership between Cardiff and Vale Action for Mental Health (cavamh); Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS); and Voluntary Community Service Cymru (VCS).

We’re working to break down the barriers faced by those with any lived experience of mental ill health, offering opportunities to develop skills and grow in confidence. We understand that it can be difficult, but step-by-step, we are here to help plan and support people into volunteering to make the most of the good days and manage not-so-good days.

Get involved:

You can contact us yourself to discuss getting involved, or if you are supported by an organisation or voluntary group you can ask the person who currently supports you to contact us.

We’ve made the process as easy as possible so we can start working with people sooner.
