Project Manager (The Release Project)

I’m Laura and I manage the Release Project, working with people with a conviction history. I started with VCS Cymru in 2012, running the Big Up and GwirVol youth projects, before moving into supporting ex-offenders in 2014.

I also help out with a couple of shows on Radio Cardiff, booking guests and performers, writing scripts and looking after the general admin. The rest of my time is taking up with bossing the rest of the team around, making sure their timesheets are up to date and the dishes are done!

I was born and bred in Cardiff but now live out on the coast. I’ve worked in all sorts of jobs from cleaning and running the Ladybird ride on the Hayes to running large conferences and exhibitions across the UK and a 12-year stint at BBC Cymru Wales.
